Board Meetings
Misty Oaks Homeowners Board Meetings are open for our residents and are scheduled the second Monday of every Month at 7:00 pm at the pool house. If you have any concerns and you would like to be on our Agenda please submit those agenda requests by the Friday before 4:00 pm. prior to our Monday meeting. This will give the board time to research for information in our covenants or if we need to invite other community services before the meeting. An example is when we had SAPD at the meeting at El Rod to address speeding occurring in the neighborhood. Please email those agenda requests to the HOA Board at mohoa1977.sa@gmail.com.
New Covenant Officer
Misty Oaks has a new covenant officer Laurie Miller to enforce MOHA covenants. If you need to contact her at (706)206-4282 or email at Imohacovenantofficer98@gmail.com. If you need a copy of the covenants you can find them on our website mistyoakssa.com
Misty Oaks Manta Rays
Our swim team the Manta Rays will start practices in May. Please checkout the Misty Oaks Manta Rays Facebook page for updates.
New Pickleball Courts
Our tennis courts have been resurfaced and now include the Pickleball lines for residence who are interested in this popular sport. If you prefer tennis, lines and a backboard are there as well.
Swimming Pool is Open
Remember that there are no lifeguards so please watch your families especially children. Please no glass in the pool area for the safety of all our members. We do allow our HOA members six guests. If you are interested in inviting more friends or family it can be rented between 7:30-11:00. Please it is the homeowners responsibility to secure and pay for lifeguards. We do require a lifeguard for every 25 people and you can find more information at mistyoakssa.com. Justin Iverson can be contacted for more lifeguard information.
No Dogs in Gated Areas or Courts
Please keep your dogs from our playground area and off the new courts. We want the courts resurfacing to stay looking fresh and visible for players and our pooches nails can damage painted surfaces. Parents and children would also appreciate a clean playground free from dog poop.
